Primal’s Interest Networks for Personalization

Gathering real insight into customer needs and interests is a challenging proposition. Organizations often resort to expensive and indirect means for gathering this data.

Primal’s semantic synthesis technology provides a much more cost-effective and direct approach to understanding individual consumers. We use the terms that consumers use to express their interests, and represent them as interest networks–machine-readable user models.

The output of Primal’s computational engine is semantic data that describes the individual interests of end-users. These interest networks provide the underlying structure that drive more personalized and individualized products and services. These interests can now be processed by machines and software agents to conduct tasks on behalf of the users, much like personal assistants.

The data generated may also be persisted to improve future customer interactions, integrated into controlled vocabularies such as taxonomies, or used to inform the development of content, products, and services.

There are numerous use cases supported by Primal’s machine automation and software agents, including: searching for information, making social connections, creating reports and tracking topics of interest – for whatever specific interests consumers may express.
